Please consider signing up with us to become a member and supporter of the important work we do in the fight against poverty.
TAPS is a registered Society under the British Columbia Societies Act, as well as a registered charity with the Canadian Federal Government. TAPS members receive:
Our bi-monthly newsletter, The Taproot, and project updates;
Information on current poverty issues and public legal education programs, and
The right to vote for directors at our Annual General Meeting.
Donors to TAPS may request that a portion of their donation go to cover their membership fee, as both membership fees and donations to Together Against Poverty Society are tax deductible. Membership dues are $20 for those earning a wage, and $5 for unwaged, although if you feel you are unable to pay anything in dues TAPS is happy to waive the fee.
Please fill out the webforms below if you would like to become a member. One of our staff will reach out to help facilitate the payment of any dues, and will confirm your preferences for receiving communications from TAPS.
Membership dues and donations can be made at the TAPS office, by mailing us a cheque, or through our Canada Helps Page. When you make a contribution please let us know whether or not a portion or all of the money is to go toward membership dues.
