Together Against Poverty Society would like to thank all our supporters who came out to celebrate 25 years of community-driven advocacy for people living in poverty, at our Tapas for TAPS event on Thursday, June 12 at Heron Rock Bistro.
Special thanks to our host, Victoria Mayor Dean Fortin, guest speaker, Jerry McHale, QC, and our dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Our deepest gratitude for the support of Heron Rock Bistro– owner Andrew Moffatt and staff for generously providing tapas (what a spread!) and local craft beer and regional wine tastings. Check out live bands at the Heron Rock Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, including our guests at Tapas for TAPS- the super chill Flying Saucers.
We would also like to thank the Victoria Foundation who partnered with us as part of their Smart and Caring Community Fund to match donations at the event.
